Our next Berlin show is less than two weeks away: On Wednesday, October 2 we’ll descend into the basement at Tennis Bar on Reuterstraße.
They only started having louder shows down there very recently—and who knows how long it will all last, given the neighbour situation around those streets that already took Loophole from us back in early July.
This time we’ll be sharing the stage with Supercheri, a relatively new bedroom funk and no wave project originally conceived by Federica from Kitchen Leg Records (BraBraBra, Pieuvre, Xantene, Duchamp…) during lockdown times.
After releasing her meanwhile long sold out debut tape Featurette on KLR in early 2022, she’s been playing live around town fronting her local underground supergroup comprising her husband and KLR co-founder Andrew (also The Post Spiderhole Ensemble, Ruins of Krüger, Hit Gib) Novatron drummer Itta and Magali aka Diane Electro (also Milf Mafia/100 Kicks).
For this occasion our own music publishing and promotion entity Delikassetten is teaming up with Kitchen Leg Records, which, as a welcome by-product, entitled us to one of Andrew’s formidable collage posters showcasing the instantly recognisable KLR aesthetic.
If all goes well (DHL permits), posters will go up later today. Be sure to also grab a flyer with the same design at one of the next shows in the meantime, like the next Sunday Matinee on Sept 29! We’ll see you everywhere.
Hugs, Jonathan
