Before we’ll embark on our journey to the faraway Caledonian shores of Glasgow (home of our fantastic label Heavenly Creature Records!) and Edinburgh in June, we’ll play one more hometown show, at Schokoladen on the 5th of June—as part of Kitty Solaris’ Lofi-Lounge series, alongside local experimental pop singer Susa Berivan.
But first, this Sunday, the 26th, we would like to invite you this year’s first outdoor edition of The Sunday Matinee. We’ll have Ostseetraum, Einkauf Aktuell and Volcano Victims, spanning musical genres from minimal wave, to Postwurf-Punk and Icelandic indie. There will also be food and OG Matinee peeps Davide and Angela will be around, so come catch up with us. See flyer below for more info and do get in touch if you need directions!
Remember our release show at Loge on the 26th of April? It’s been our second time playing there and Loge has quickly become one of our favourite stages in Berlin. Unfortunately, they’re currently really struggling financially. Please have a look at their fundraiser and donate a few euros if you can. On that note, thanks again for helping to save the Matinee from GEMA-induced bankruptcy! With your help, we made our goal of €1,000 in only three days. <3
